What is Money Coaching?

Money Coaching = Money Therapy

Money Coaching is a new field and paradigm. It is bridging the gap between the financial services industry and the field of psychology, money coaching allows people to uncover their unconscious patterns, beliefs and behaviours around money through a step-by-step process.

It also helps to create new levels of awareness from which positive change can occur.

Money Coaching is not about the numbers

In fact, very few of our money problems are as a result of numbers. If our money problems were limited to crunching numbers, wouldn’t we all be good with money?

Money Coaching is about:

IDENTIFYING THE BLINDSPOTS

It is more about our unconscious patterns and behaviours around money that has more impact on our finances. Some of these patterns we developed during childhood and also as a result of the environment we were brought up in.

UNPACKING WHAT YOUR TRIGGERS ARE

Money is emotional and most of the decisions we make about money come from a place of emotions and is often not rational or thought about. A shopping problem isn’t because you “love to go shopping” or because you are “bad at managing your money”. It is typically a symptom of a bigger issue.

TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR OWN STORY

The truth is, sometimes we all need some help being held accountable when building out a strategic plan for achieving our goals. We all have a money story and uncovering that story is key to championing our financial goals.

EMPOWERMENT OR JUST PLAIN THERAPY

Not only is money coaching recommended for people who feel frustrated about their finances, it is recommended for everyone, even if you believe you are doing well with money.

Are you feeling stressed, anxious or depressed about money?
